(Sacramento) - Every year, lawmakers at the California State Capitol take time to honor survivors, and the lives lost during the Holocaust of WWII. As part of the Jewish Caucus, Assemblymember Laura Friedman (D-Glendale) talked about the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, shared her personal story of loss, and the importance of remembering the past. “I want to acknowledge the survivors in our midst today, to thank them for standing strong, for being here to bear witness to that history,” says Assemblymember Friedman.
