There Ought to Be a Law

Are there challenges in our community or state that could be fixed with a new law?
This is your chance to share your ideas!
As a lawmaker, I know that some of the best ideas we work on at the State Capitol come directly from constituents. When we work together as a community, we can produce better results.
Please consider submitting an idea for a new law. My staff and I will read every idea sent to us, and select one to turn into a bill that I will introduce on the Assembly floor. If a majority of my colleagues agree—your bill could become a law!
Proposals can vary from local community improvements to statewide reforms, to making entirely new policies or revisions to existing laws. To apply, fill out the form and submit.
Proposals are due by Monday, February 17, 2025.
I look forward to reading your bill ideas and appreciate your collaboration.
